The Fellowship Award
Annual Perpetual Awards
The Fellowship Award shall be made to any person, whether or not they are a member of the club. A member may only be awarded the title once. The award shall be made to the person who has made an outstanding contribution to the object of The Dog Training Club or for lifetime achievement in the world of dogs. Nominees must be resident in the United Kingdom.
We are currently in the middle of completing an audit of all our trophies, photographing them and checking trophy names and previous winners. As the trophies are currently out with last years winners, this will not be complete until after the December 2024 awards.

This trophy was presented from funds collected by members and donated by the family of founder member Sheila Gaffney (Praytens) who passed away passed away in 2018. Sheila was a well known local and national figure in dogs for many years, originally Poodles and more recently in Japanese Spitz. A lady whose contribution to dog breeding and dog health will always be remembered by the club.
